The TAIWAN BRIDGES Program is jointly promoted by National Taiwan University (NTU) and Academia Sinica, with President Lai Ching-te serving as Honorary Chair. Initiated by Academician Yuan Tseh Lee and supported by Mr. Raymond Soong, founder of Lite-On Group, the program brings together twelve leading academic and research institutions across Taiwan in collaboration with the International Peace Foundation (IPF). From 2025 to 2026, the program will invite 31 Nobel Laureates to Taiwan for a series of lectures and exchanges.
Under this initiative, National Taiwan University will host six lectures under the NTU Raymond Soong Chair Professorship of Distinguished Research, fostering high-level academic dialogue and international engagement.
