- The Academic Writing Education Center (AWEC) of National Taiwan University invites qualified applicants to apply for this full-time project instructor (Lecturer or above) position to teach EAP and ESP courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Job duties include teaching academic and professional English writing courses, assisting in academic-related assignments at the AWEC in promoting related activities, as well as other administrative tasks.

- Anticipated Start Date
August 1st, 2023, annual contract. Contract may be extended subject to job performance and available funding.
- Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher, approved by the Ministry of Education. Proof of degree verification must be provided for degrees from foreign institutions.
- Areas of specialization which include reading, academic writing, presentation skills in English, and cross-culture communication. Those with relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in cross discipline teaching or teaching classes completely in English preferred.
- Preference will be given to native speakers of English or applicants with near-native competency in English language.

- A photocopy of highest degree diploma and other related certificates;
- One representative publication (preferably within the last five years);
- One sample course plan and one syllabus designed specifically for the AWEC;
- Contact information of two references;
- English autobiography;
- Other supporting materials. (e.g. government-issued teacher certificate, syllabi of related courses.)
