NTU Royal Palm Lecture Series

National Taiwan University has established the Royal Palm Lecture Series, a campus-wide special lecture series aimed at broadening the perspectives of students and faculty members. This series invites distinguished scholars or professionals from both domestic and international backgrounds in academia or industry who have demonstrated exceptional achievements or global impact to deliver speeches and participate in academic exchanges at the university. Tsai Ing-wen, Former President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and Daniel Tsai, Chairman, Fubon Group, will deliver the inaugural lecture. All university members are encouraged to participate.

● Note:
1. Photography and video recording will take place during the lecture. The photos and video footage may be used for event documentation, presentation of event outcomes, university publicity, and educational outreach. By registering for this event, participants are deemed to have agreed to the use of photos and video footage taken during the event for the purposes stated above.
2. As this is a large-scale lecture, all participants are required to comply with the security screening procedures upon entry.

The event is limited to 300 participants and is open exclusively to NTU faculty, staff, and students. Please register in advance through NTU’s activity registration system. If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. If spaces remain available, waitlisted applicants will be offered admission on the day of the event. Those wishing to join the waitlist are kindly requested to bring a valid NTU ID or other relevant university identification.
4. Participation in this lecture: Civil servants can register for Government Employee Lifelong Learning for 1 hour. For students, this learning record will be linked to their ePo.
